A Spiritual Model for Covering America with Testimony
Rebuilding the Communication Wall
In the book of Nehemiah, Jerusalem’s walls were broken down and its gates had been destroyed by fire. The city still existed. The people still existed. But the protective and connecting structure around them had collapsed.
When Nehemiah heard the report, he immediately understood the seriousness of the condition: “The wall of Jerusalem is broken down, and its gates are burned with fire,” Nehemiah 1:3.
Today, America faces a similar spiritual reality. Churches exist. Bibles are available. Christian content is everywhere for those searching for it. Yet millions of people now live behind digital walls where the Gospel rarely enters. Many are no longer walking into churches, listening to Christian radio, or seeking spiritual truth on their own. The issue is not the absence of truth — it is the absence of exposure.
The communication wall is broken. That is why ComeOnLetsGo exists. Like Nehemiah, we believe the first step is honestly seeing the condition. But Nehemiah did not respond with criticism alone — he responded with burden, prayer, and action. “When I heard these things, I sat down and wept…” Nehemiah 1:4. Before Nehemiah built anything, his heart broke for what was broken.
ComeOnLetsGo is not primarily a media project. It is a spiritual burden to place compelling testimonies of Jesus directly in front of people who may never otherwise encounter them. Real stories have a unique ability to cross barriers, disarm resistance, and open hearts. But burden alone is not enough.
Nehemiah prayed before he planned. “Give your servant success today…” Nehemiah 1:11. This work is not built on marketing strategies alone. It depends on prayer, discernment, spiritual authority, and complete dependence on God. Technology is simply a tool. God is the builder.
At the same time, Nehemiah teaches us that strategic planning is not a lack of faith — it is stewardship of vision. Nehemiah gathered resources, developed logistics, surveyed the walls, and identified where rebuilding was needed most. In the same way, ComeOnLetsGo studies the modern mission field:
- Digital consumption habits
- Algorithmic filtering
- Online echo chambers
- Where people actually spend attention
We are building where the breaks are greatest. And just as Nehemiah did not rebuild the wall alone, this vision cannot be accomplished by a single ministry or a few individuals.
Nehemiah 3 describes families rebuilding the section of wall directly in front of their own homes. Everyone took responsibility for a portion. That is the vision behind this movement. Some pray. Some give. Some share testimonies. Some distribute content. Some lead. Some encourage others. No one does everything — but everyone can do something. This is how a wall is rebuilt. This is how America can be covered with testimony.
There will be opposition. Nehemiah faced mockery, resistance, intimidation, and discouragement. Every meaningful spiritual work encounters obstacles. But opposition is often confirmation that the work matters.
Nehemiah’s workers ultimately built with a tool in one hand and a sword in the other — working diligently while remaining spiritually alert. That is our calling today. To build modern communication pathways for the Gospel while remaining anchored in prayer, truth, and dependence on God.
The wall can be rebuilt. One story at a time.
