The one thing that she had told me earlier, I asked her if someone tried to talk her into getting an abortion. She said yes, but she didn't do it because she couldn’t blame the baby for what the father did because it wasn’t the baby's fault. We met her son. The son that she had through her abuse. We first found him on Facebook.

What happened is that we found each other on Facebook, actually. I know it’s a strange story. I knew his mom’s name and his name. I was just looking around on Facebook and I found him. That’s how we got to know each other.

He then came to visit us about two years ago in Alabama. He brought his fiancé with him. I think that was the first time our kids had met him and vice versa. We stayed there with us all day I believe getting to know our family and us getting to know him. Like she said, he has since got married and joined the United States Air Force. To us it was a confirmation thats he did the right thing by letting him be adopted.
