I grew up in England. It’s a very spiritually kind of dry place. It wasn’t until my older brother David came to America that he got completely born again. He came back so transformed I didn’t even recognize him. He was kind of a party boy, let’s say. He had photos of girls all over his walls. Then he came back from America and he tore it all down. He was telling us about the gospel and telling us that we had basically been missing the point. We grew up kind of religious but truthfully I didn’t really know the gospel. I didn’t know God was real. I didn’t know that I could know Him personally in my life. My brother was the first person I met that really lived what they said. So, I followed in his footsteps, came over to America at sixteen years old to be a part of The Living Light School of Worship. That was when I first responded truly to the gospel. It was when I realized I have no other reason to live other than Jesus and what He has done for me. That was the time when I was filled with hope.
